This kit came with 2 lid sizes (regular and wide-mouth), the lid cover has very malleable and soft rubberized edge to ensure a good seal. It takes a couple of minutes for the air to be vacuumed out, but the lid is really on the jar. This kit comes with 2 hoses (1 short, 1 long), 2 lid covers, several different hose fittings, and an opener for a vacuumed lid. The packaging was really perfect and I'm continuing to use the box it came in to store this kit with my sealer machine. This item was just under $10, so a good value. This was very easy to use, the main thing to remember is to remove the suction hose first, then remove the lid cover. Easy peasy.
