I applied it on Friday, it thunder stormed thru the weekend, and Monday i still have no mosquitoes. It's nice to use a product that won't expose my pets, garden, and child to harsh chemicals. I used more than the recommended concentration and the yard did have the smell of garlic and pine afterwards. I'd rather smell garlic in the air than be eaten alive by flying parasites. It didn't bother me, but it drove my wife crazy (who doesn't like the smell of garlic???) These are my reasons for not giving 5 stars; Application of this product is short term, temporary, and costly. the rain will eventually wash this stuff away, you may get 2 weeks as advertised under a best case scenario. i used 3/4 of the bottle on my yard, at $100 a bottle, it would be costly to keep this up thru the summer. i would happily pay $30 a bottle for this product.
