The heart of the empire expansion for Imperial assault welcomes you to Corus cant, capital of the galaxy! this globe-spanning metropolis is the home of Emperor Palpatine and countless other beings. It is also the home of countless mysteries, including the location of an ancient artifact of incredible importance... altogether, heart of the empire expands your campaign and skirmish games with three heroes and thirteen other figures, including the massive AT-DP, baton-wielding riot troopers, and twin-gunned Sentry droids. Corus cant comes to life with dozens of new map tiles and more than 130 cards. New energy shield and Rubble tokens will throw a wrench in your opponent’s plans by modifying the battlefield, and new power tokens give you more control over your fate than ever before!

Review: Great game but be weary of the shipping packaging. - First off, the game itself is great. It's a 5-star product. The content is a nice addition to the base game. I just started playing Imperial Assault recently (after owning the base game for over a year) and decided that I want to own a "complete game" since they stopped making new expansions for it. The negatives have to do with how desertcart ships it. I wish I had taken pictures... I actually bought this game twice from desertcart and had to return it both times. Instead of boxing the game, they shipped it to me in a plastic bag. The first copy I received had no fewer than 3 damaged corners on the game box. I had never experienced that before, so I ordered a replacement item. Again, they shipped the game in a plastic bag and this time, the corners were even more beat-up... plus there was a deep gouge in the bottom of the box itself. The plastic bag itself, was in decent shape both times. I called customer service to see if they could send me another replacement in an actual box vs plastic bag but was told that they don't have a way to request that since these decisions are made at the distribution center. I ended up returning the game again for a refund and ordering it from a different store for a few dollars more.

First off, the game itself is great. It's a 5-star product. The content is a nice addition to the base game. I just started playing Imperial Assault recently (after owning the base game for over a year) and decided that I want to own a "complete game" since they stopped making new expansions for it. I am a huge fan of Imperial Assault! Since picking it up a year ago, I have played about two dozens games of it, and any new piece that comes out for the game is pretty much an instant buy for me. This piece was no exception. This is one of the cooler models to come out for the game. It is very dynamic-looking, and the piece, itself, offers some great new game play options. Unlike most of the models in this game, this one comes in pieces and must be assembled. I found that my model did not fit together as tightly as I would have wanted.
