Is this the weight of a single sheet? Because shipping weight is 1 pound. Does not add up.** A: No. Each sheet weighs less than one ounce. I'd guess between 1/4 & 1/2 oz per sheet. Very lightweight. (If you have to answer "not sure"...why bother answering?) **Q: what is the mesh size?** A: i's a tight mesh ( fine ) **Q: will these let air flow through?** A: The heated air from the dehydrator and fan flows over and under the Teflon sheets. I use them for drying very small herbs and other items that tend to disintegrate and/or fall through the sheets with larger holes. They are effective. The Teflon sheet is very thin and pliable. **Q: Is the golbalis product bpa free?** A: The Globalis sheets are Teflon, which is PTFE. A number of articles exist that explain what Teflon is, but it does not contain BPA.
