It is about 20" long, 'way too short for my (I guess) large knee. I appears that I would require at least 28" in length for full function. My knee circumference above the knee cap is about 22" and, yes, I am a big guy. Anyway, this is "one-size fits some" ... **Q: Is this brace good for squating with weight?** A: I haven't done that but I am up and down a lot and I don't have a problem with it moving around but the middle strap might bother your skin behind your knee if you were doing a lot of squating .. Wearing the brace gives much support and she can now walk longer distance relatively with much less pain.I would recommend this product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good brace but not for large guys *by D***A on Reviewed in the United States on 26 April 2016* This is a good quality knee brace. I deducted one star because the center strap is just too short. It would be fine if it were made with elastic and would stretch a few inches but no such luck. The upper and lower straps are plenty long enough and do a great job of keeping the brace in place. But, the center strap is the one that supports the knee so is the most important of the three. And, if you can't use the center strap, it makes the brace pretty useless. Most people won't have a problem with this if they have small to average size knees but if you have a more muscular build, it might be a problem. Otherwise, it is a very good brace. For reference, my knee circumference is 17" at the knee cap, 19" at 3" above the knee, and 18" at 3" below the knee.
