Standard hangers I would say up to 3.For travelling in a car from A to B, Yes. If you are thinking of travelling on a train or abroad, No. They are not water proof. They are more dust covers than travel bags. **Q: Can you tell me exactly what the fabric is? Woven? Nylon? Cotton? Polyester?** A: Its non woven fabric with pvc ... a bit like mattress protectors .. which makes sense as they are supposed to be waterproof. **Q: How large is the hole for hangers? Do the bags keep moths out?** A: Just a standard size hole for a hanger. I dont think its impregnated with any anti moth fragrance but just wrap a bit of tissue paper around the hangar hole.
