So metel to metal using the "glueing" principle?** A: Hello Oliver I only used it as a filler to repair an aluminium step up on a 4 x 4 and in my opinion, I don’t think I would want to use it as the sole means of attaching your wing mirror mount. At the end of the day when you’re driving along there is going to be a fair amount of wind resistance on the mirror and the last thing you’d want is for it to come off damaging your car or someone putting a claim into your insurance for damage sustained to their car or personal injury if it came off and hit someone. Is there no way you could attach the mirror mount and maybe blind the fixing screws over with Quiksteel. Sorry I can’t be more helpful as I only used it for making a repair to a damaged surface rather than trying to make an attachment.
