Didn't take long to understand how the menu is organised. We are up in years but we didn't find these phones difficult to use. The ringer is sufficient and voices are easy to understand, even though my wife says my hearing is not what it used to be. I haven't set up all the menu yet but only the things that we use immediately and will look further at the other functions later. Only time will tell how reliable these phones are, but our last two Panasonic phones lasted many years. This is why we went for Panasonic. Hope this helps anyone with the same circumstances.
