One water bag had a minor leak but belvita replaced it quickly. Assemble and fill in a day is very possible. Leave the drawers to last as you can sleep without them. I had to supply a few screws as the ones supplied were too short. Most holes were pre-drilled and aligned well. It takes a lot of screws to assemble so a cordless driver is a great benefit. We found that all the pre-cut pieces of wood needed to be cleaned / dusted before assembly so allow some extra time. Take care to align the water bags accurately before filling as adjustment when even partly full is near impossible. It arrived well packed on a pallet. We used a drill powered pump and garden hose to fill the bed from the bath. It took around 2 hours of pumping! We were able to fill the bath with water at about the right temperature so heating time was reduced. You could fill with cold and wait days for it to warm up. We filled each water bag a little in turn so that one did not push the thermal break out of position.
