We use the Autumn/Winter feed in November and the Summer feed in April/May **Q: what is the coverage with 25kg Sportsmaster Autumn Winter lawn grass feed** A: It depends on what settings of your spreader is. I can cover 700m's with on 25kg bag using a Scott's spreader at 27. **Q: Is it too late to spread onto recently scarified lawn?** A: No probably not as long as you haven’t scarified it to death if you still have good grass cover use leave your grass long over winter helps keep the root strong dec spread lots of chicken manure pellets and you will reap the rewards in springtime **Q: can this be used now in january?** A: I find that the Ideal time to feed the grass is the end of october so as to give the grass a better rooting system to aid it through the winter months. Many gardeners have their own idea's of how & when to spread the feed but this is my preference, in answer to your question: you can still feed the grass in january as our winters are a bit warmer now but feed very sparingly and be very careful to give an even spread, do not create clumps of feed on the grass as this will damage/burn the existing grass where the clumps are and don't feed if Ice/Frost is expected. I also give the grass a very light sprinkle in mid summer.
