Just be careful of the zippers! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Closet Monsters Invade Thistle Cottage Studio!! *by T***O on December 21, 2010* When I saw this book, I was immediatley bitten with Monster fever!! I knew it would be contagious, and that my 7-13 year old students would do back flips for this project!! I bought the book, showed it to them, and the Monster Project was off and running. Each student brought in 6 Monster sketches, then we had a Monster Kick-Off Party, and everyone voted for their favorite Monster!! They each wrote a back story for their Monsters, just as John Murphy has done, and we rolled on the floor with laughter. Each one was funnier than the last!! Prizes were given, including 2 copies of this book, wormy dirt pudding satisfied monsterous appetites, a scrap diving frenzy ensued, and we have since started monster production. Some students will be donating their Monsters to the Hasbro Childrens Hospital, and the Dept. for Children and Families. This is a book that I will continue to inspire my young students' creativity with, for as long as I am able to teach!!! Highly recommend!!
