It is a nice looking, well made heater, doesn't take up much space, easy to move around, controls are easy to get to on front. The heat that this little beauty kicks out on the 600 watt setting is amazing, it certainly "feels" far more than 600 watts. It warms all of me from head to toe and I'm sat approx 3-4 feet from it, which is something the halogen heaters never did. The temperature in my living room rose from 65f to 68f within 40 minutes on the lower setting, and it's still rising. I have tried it on the high setting, moving it approx 6 feet away from me, it was so hot I turned it down after 1/2 an hour. Considering my previous halogen heaters on the 1200 watt setting and this one on the same setting, this one feels like it's kicking out double the amount of heat. So glad I bought this fantastic heater, it's worth every penny. This lovely seller must have shipped it the day I paid for it because I received it the following day, so a huge Thank you to them. My nearest power point is some way from my bathroom.** A: Hi the power cable is one meter long. However, this unit is not designed to be used in a bathroom as it is not IP rated for bathroom use. A heater to be used in a bathroom must have the correct IP rating and be hard wired into a fuse spur, not plugged into a socket.
