I have an Epson Printer and never use any thing but Epson Paper for quality prints. Also applies to Epson Cartridges. I guess the same applies to Canon Paper with Canon Printers. If you are worried about cost, then there is a company called Photo Papers Direct(PPD) who supply their own brand and proudly declare those printers which are compatible with their paper. I purchased some to try out. It's OK but I only use it for "Proof Prints", then use the Epson Paper for final Prints.I appreciate all the branded papers are not cheap, they rip us off for all their consumable, Paper, ink etc. I would be tempted to buy a small pack of the Epson Paper and give it a try in your Printer whatever make you have. Also, why not purchase a pack of 6" x 4" sheets (Not the 7" x 5") and give it a try. With any luck you may be pleasantly surprised with the results.
