The half case adds on a few mm onto the bottom of the Sony A7III body, which makes it feel a little bit bigger, making the camera slightly easier to hold if you have big hands. It is also genuine leather which is a nice touch, and compliments the orange lens ring on the A7III body in my opinion. It also comes with a full-size vintage style strap which I think looks great. All the buttons and doors on the A7III are still accessible with the case fitted, also you can screw a tripod into the bottom of the case, so you don't have to remove the case for that either! As you can guess from the review title, the only snag really was the shipping. To be fair, as soon as I mentioned to MegaGear that it was taking forever, they did refund the postage. But it did take 2 weeks to arrive. They said the delay was caused because they were moving their warehouse to a different location/country. So that may have been sorted out now??? Either way it is a nice unique vintage style product which I love, and more than happy with! It’s not super tight in that it only uses the one screw to go on so it moves a little on either side and I had to keep shifting it to get into the battery.
