Engineered with durable materials to maintain calibration after 1000+ uses, it features a clear, large-scale display and a caravan-height design for easy, safe loading. Trusted by the Camping and Caravan Club, this silver aluminum gauge ensures caravan stability and towing safety with professional-grade reliability. ## Description This is the only Noseweight Gauge approved and calibrated to the British standard for these instruments. It offers calibrated precision, accuracy, reliability and technical superiority over other Noseweight Gauges. It has a clear large scale to ensure the precise and safe loading for this safety critical area,to ensure Caravan stability when towing. The Camping and Caravan Club conducted a study on Noseweight Gauges and found them to be inaccurate and unreliable. They then approached Milenco and asked if we could produce a Noseweight Gauge to the standard BS7691,which was written in 2004. At this time no one had produced a conforming Gauge to the standard. We conducted studies on the available Noseweight Gauges and at best found them only accurate within 12kilos but more concerning is that we found these Noseweight Gauges often became ridiculously inaccurate with use. The Milenco Precision Calibrated Noseweight Gauge has been manufactured using unique materials so that its calibration remains accurate even after 1000 uses. Other Noseweight Gauges can be up to 30 kilos out after 1000 uses. Another improvement we have made is that the scale is much clearer and goes up to 130 kilos and are accurate to within 2 kilos (as required by BS7691) Further improvements include the fact we made the Noseweight Gauge the same height as your caravan,so you do not need to block it up to use it. We know this Gauge costs a few pounds more, but you are getting real value for money and something that works correctly, exactly to the standard. We think this is far better than something that can be potentially dangerous,as you can end up with a low Noseweight, which is the trend with the un-calibrated Noseweight Gauges as the springs soften with use especially those using piano wire. This is another safety product you can trust from Milenco. ## Features - Milenco Calibrated Nose Weight Gauge Caravan trailer ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B004W17D94 | | Best Sellers Rank | 3,698 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) 20 in Universal Accessories for Trailer Couplings | | Brand Name | Milenco | | Colour | silver | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Trailer | | Country Of Origin | Taiwan | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (1,285) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05060101832691 | | Item Dimensions | 55 x 27 x 19 centimetres | | Item Weight | 1650 Milligrams | | Load Capacity | 1.3E+2 kilos | | Manufacturer | Milenco | | Manufacturer Part Number | BS7961 | | Material Type | Aluminum | | Maximum Lifting Height | 18.49 Inches | | Model Number | MOV9983317 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | OEM Equivalent Part Number | cb5f8e09-bcf7-40c6-a669-6e99a2dd8c83 | | Style Name | Single | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Milenco - **Load capacity:** 1.3E+2 kilos - **Material:** Aluminum - **Maximum lifting height:** 18.49 Inches - **Vehicle service type:** Trailer ## Images ![Precision Calibrated Nose Weight Gauge Caravan trailer, silver - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/416uTGS4tHL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is the weight scale engraved on the tube or is an adhesive transfer used?** A: It is a transfer of some sort but it doesn't appear to rub on the inside of the tube. I've had mine a couple of years and not a mark on the scaleing **Q: What height tow hook will it fit?** A: Hi Anne. This Nose Weight Gauge will fit all standard caravan hitch arms. You will have to raise the hitch with the jockey wheel locate into your ball hitch and lower as in the picture. It's very accurate and I always check my caravan at the start of our season and everytime I change or alter something which may affect the Weight or balance of the caravan. Better to be safe and this piece of kit is very accurate and should last you for years. Hope this helps you. All the best Graham. **Q: Does this gauge comply with BS7961?** A: As a stand alone equipment yes - does the person carrying out the activity have the knowledge and capacity to do it safely that’s another question. I have used this many times and it is accurate to within 1KG and easy to use. **Q: Whats the maximum weight?** A: Not quite sure what is the maximum weight, but it manages a 1200kg caravan. ## Frequently Bought Together - Milenco 2691 Calibrated Nose Weight Gauge Caravan Trailer - Tri-Lynx 00015 Lynx Levelers - 10 Pack , Orange - Camco RhinoFLEX 15-Ft RV Sewer Hose Kit - Features Clear Elbow Fitting w/Removable 4-in-1 Adapter - Connects to 3” Slip or 3”/3.5”/4” NPT Threaded Sewer Connection (39742) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/48987057-precision-calibrated-nose-weight-gauge-caravan-trailer-silver](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/48987057-precision-calibrated-nose-weight-gauge-caravan-trailer-silver) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
