Nature of Aquarius
The fixed air sign, ruled by Saturn and Uranus, Aquarius’ purpose is to fix the Idea that informs life. Nature’s growth demands a paradigm within which each individual can remain true to its uniqueness and yet also live in harmony with the rest of creation. The celestial water bearer is Ganymede, cup bearer to the Gods. He carries not ordinary water but the electromagnetic currents of vitalizing spirit.
Aquarius is a social and political being. It knows itself simultaneously as individual and as part of the wider plan, pattern or network. It mindfully synthesises pieces of information into theories and kindred spirits into organization.
