Review: Perfectly fine for a budget stool - If you're a new drummer finding it hard to play on a kitchen chair but the idea of €100 for a drum throne is freaking you out, then this is probably the right buy for you. It's a very cheap stool, and you know that buying it, so you can't really be surprised that it doesn't come with all the bells and whistles. I avoid calling it a "drum throne", as I feel that's overplaying the quality of it. You have to tighten everything up really well and even then it's a tiny bit unstable and it squeaks and creaks. There's not fine-tuning on the height. You get 3 height settings and that's it. But it's fine. You can play and you're comfortable and it didn't break the bank. It's not especially quick to adjust so not the kind of thing you buy for transporting to gigs. Maybe as an emergency spare that you keep in the car.
