The handle fits the fist with the solemn promise of hard labour. The bristles aren't so much wires as they are an organised mob of tempered steel anarchists, each one dedicated to removing what you don't want and leaving a faint, gratifying score mark of your victory behind.I applied it to a garden gate that had embraced rust with the enthusiasm of a convert. The brush did not persuade. It did not negotiate. It issued a series of short, sharp, and very loud decrees. In minutes, the rust was a memory and my arm felt pleasantly connected to the Victorian era. The block shape gets right into corners, like a determined terrier after a rat of corrosion.It’s brutally simple, utterly effective, and asks for nothing but elbow grease and the occasional mutter of defiance.
