Is it okay to use it daily? Every other day? Weekly? Just wondering because it doesn't have the frequency on the bottle.** A: It is just salt and some scented stuff. It does not smell badly, in my opinion, smells okay. But this stuff does not work. It is salt, it does ruin your hair overtime if you use it as long and as frequently as I have. I have tried tons of bottles of this stuff, and still had lice. I did all the nightly changing of pillows and sheets, and towels, etc. i finally quit using this stuff after months of no improvement. Yes, months! I ended up using Isopropyl alchohol (plain old rubbing alchohol at the drugstore for two dollars) which does work, and this coolness of the rubbing alchohol feels soothing to irritated bite marks on your scalp. Also use a fine plastic nit comb every single day. Every day. Oddly the rubbing alchohol does not dry out my hair as badly as this salt stuff did. **Q: Does this kill the eggs too, or do you still have to comb them out ?** A: The product claims to kill the eggs, and in my experience it did! I used the spray yesterday morning. I combed out a small fraction of the lice and eggs but definitely not all. I have not seen a live lice since (it's been 36 hours). If the spray did not kill the eggs, I would be seeing live lice by this point. I'm REALLY impressed with this product. **Q: I contracted lice in august, finally got rid of them in october. they came back in december. i'm 18 with mid back length thick hair. will this work?** A: this stuff helps but for that much hair as you have? you will need many bottles to saturates your hair. this stuff helps but it doesn't work as well as plain old isopropyl alcohol for $2 at the drug store. this here spray is salt water and it really dries your hair out, even more than the isopropyl did. Take great care to tip face way up or lay down on towel, so you do not get any isopropyl alcohol in your eyes. **Q: Does the metal comb that comes with this work pretty well?** A: I don't believe that any of the comms work fantastic when you're going through that situation however with that being said the spray itself is pretty fantastic you can leave it in and you don't have to actually use the comb to get the nets out unless you choose to my daughter has very very thick hair so no matter what it's very hard to spray makes me feel better since it kills them and then I stay on top of it by constantly using a hot iron ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lice treatment *by M***. on 31 May 2024* Does what it says on box ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Must buy *by F***I on 28 September 2019* Amazing treatment gutted can’t get hold of the shampo ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the best treatments on the market *by M***S on 3 March 2016* We used this when we found lice in the kids' hair whilst we were on holiday in the US in 2015. Believe me, with 4 children, I have tried every product on the market, most of which, including Vamousse, really do not deliver what they promise. However, I found Lice Freee to actually be pretty effective. It's not oily or overly smelly and and you leave it in to dry. Quick, easy and less hassle. However, there is no substitute for a thorough combing with a quality nit comb along with this, and any other product. I found that using Lice Freee, followed by a week or two with regular treatment with conditioner and a nit comb (say every 2 -3 days) totally cleared them all and we were a nit free happy family..... until the inevitable re-infestation a few months later :-( . I now buy Lice Freee and keep it in the cupboard.
