I ordered 2 packs thinking there was more leather in the boots to cover than on a pair of shoes, however 1 pack was more than enough. I followed the instructions, after the first coat the colour was quite black, after 2 more coats I had achieved the desired colour of blue. The dye Is quite drippy and care is needed when applying so allow yourself plenty of time to get a good result.
