**Q: Hi, Would this warm a 23ft boat?**
A: I'd say you would need a reasonable number of them operating off an inverter to make an impact. Then, depending on the insulation and whether your interior is draughty or not - and if you're wearing quite warm clothing - the heaters could help make the place reasonably comfortable.

They're never going to make the space nice and warm in cold weather, but can be used as part of choices to make it comfortable. For example, heating the place up first with a stove with a little bit of fuel, with these on to keep it reasonably comfortable after using the fuel. They would have to be switched on quite some time by themselves as a sole source if trying to take the space from cold, unheated in the first place. Even then you would need quite a number, well placed. 

It's often a good idea also with these kind of heaters to purchase protective surrounds (available separately) as, although very small, they do get very hot so it's sensible to avoid danger, and burns.

**Q: My greenhouse is 1120 cu ft. (41 cu m). Will this heater cope with this?**
A: I have one that heats a 6'x4' greenhouse and it keeps the temperature at around 5 degrees C when it's -3 outside.

**Q: How does this heater turn on other domestic appliances -as claimed?**
A: Simply plug it in. No on off switch. Easy to set to a timer.

**Q: Can this be mounted vertically so that it is perpendicular to the ground or should it always be mounted parallell to the ground?**
A: Ideally parallell to the ground as the tube itaelf does get hot and would like to find out what that does over the course of time to the support legs.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does what I need

I've just checked the temperature in the shed in which this is used and, coupled with a temperature sensitive switch, it is performing perfectly. The snow is on the ground and the shed is maintaining a temp above zero to protect it's contents. Just make sure you get a size appropriate for requirements. Oh, the first one I bought arrived with a broken bracket but, on contacting Amazon, they sent a replacement immediately and allowed me to return the broken version in my own time. 10/10 Amazon
