Bought a Meta Quest 3 VR headset at Christmas and have recently downloaded some biking apps. They all need a cadence sensor to work. The Holofit app seemed to be the best one for me with a free limited version so I bought this cadence sensor as the recommended one for the app. I put the sensor close to the pedal as suggested, using one of the three bands provided, launched the app and have just completed a five and a half virtual bike trip round Paris 😊 Initially I could pair the sensor in the app, but when I went into the worlds, the scenery wouldn’t move. I contacted Holofit who were amazing and responded quickly, following their suggestion (pedal for 30 seconds before opening the app, go to Bluetooth settings, check it’s still registered, choose your bike, launch the workout) and it started to move immediately. There is a 5-7 seconds lag from starting to pedal to the scenery moving, but that’s not an issue for me as I’m not too bothered about accurate data, I just wanted a change of scenery when using my indoor exercise bike.
