I looked on the back of energy gels I was taking for endurance (I paddle outrigger canoes in Hawaii) and tried to find a powder with similar ingredients I could just drink from my Camelback instead of stopping to squeeze every last bit of goo out of those packets. I bought this for the BCAAs and electrolytes. I have now done two paddles lasting around or over 3 hours and didn't cramp up at all! The only other thing I changed from my normal routine was a Magnesium Malate pill in the morning. My mix was 1/2 gatorade 1/2 water with extra glutamine, agmatine, creatine, and 2 scoops of this supplement. I wish they had Mg Malate in the mix instead of aspartate but oh well. I will say the mix is really sweet and I imagine it's to hide the taste of the salt (electrolytes) and aminos. All in all I couldn't be happier I bought this.
