Unfortunately, I found it really hard to work with - mainly because the non-drip meant it was drying as I painted it on. I bought the Crown quick dry which ISN'T non-drip and found it a much, much better product. As others have commented, I find the water-based satin paints take a few coats before the coverage is adequate. And over gloss paint - even sanded down - the finish was very fragile (slightest knock takes off the satin). Using my fabulous 20/20 hindsight,I researched and discovered articles saying that if you are painting over gloss, you must use a primer. As the paint in my house is so elderly it is likely to contain iron, I've bought a super-grip primer for future projects but really wish this information was on all water based satin paint.
