Loves the design and is managing perfectly fine with no straw, if the bottle is tipped too much some liquid will dribble through the hole just above the mouthpiece. Once the lid is closed it has been completely leak proof. 5 year old is able to open and close the lid with ease on his own, the fastenings aren't stiff. Happy with it, bought a 2nd one. The size of the bottle holds 600ml, my only gripe is I wish the fun designs like this were also on the larger bottles. Got the bottle while on sale so great value. Review: Easy to clean - Great bottles, durable, easy to clean mouth piece, don’t leak and nice and small circumference to hold. Made with plant biomass materials, it also has a lower melting point, which reduces energy used in manufacturing and recycling. Recyclon is a safe material for food containers. **Q: Can you give me tips on using my ION8 OneTouch bottle?** A: When drinking, you only need to tilt a little, as the spout is positioned to flow perfectly with a minimal tilt. Even a leak-proof bottle can leak if seals are lost or removed. Always check all seals are in place. Spares are readily available. **Q: How much water do I need to be well hydrated?** A: The EU recommends 2 to 2.5 liters of fluids daily for adults, including water from food. Aim for 6-8 glasses of water or other beverages. Individual needs vary based on factors like size, age, activity level, climate, and health status. **Q: How do I clean my ION8?** A: Before use always rinse the water bottle and cap with cool water. After use always rinse in warm water and dish soap only. You can use the dishwasher in the top rack or on a cool wash. Air dry thoroughly before storing and always store with cap off. **Q: How do I care for my ION8 bottle?** A: Do not use brushes or abrasives to scrub, do not freeze when full, do not boil or microwave, do not use for carbonated drinks, do not use in a dishwasher on a very hot wash. Always ensure your leak-proof seals are in place. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fab bottle *by P***E on 9 September 2026* My child has used the bottle for a couple weeks now and loves it. Can’t fault them ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty *by S***F on 17 September 2026* We love this water bottle. It does have some dents around the bottom but no paint has chipped. Water stays cold. It’s tall but thin so it fits in bag bottle pockets well. It also goes in my child’s book bag sideways and hasn’t leaked. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ion8 Water Bottle, 500 ml/18 oz, Leak Proof, Easy to Open, Secure Lock, Dishwasher Safe, BPA Free, Hygienic Flip Cover, Carry Handle, Fits Cup Holders, Easy Clean, Odor Free, Carbon Neutral - Ion8 Small Water Bottle, 350 ml/12 oz, Leak Proof, Easy to Open, Secure Lock, Dishwasher Safe, BPA Free, Carry Handle, Hygienic Flip Cover, Easy Clean, Odor Free, Carbon Neutral, Rose Quartz Pink --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/49184222-ion8-leak-proof-water-bottle-500ml-18oz-classic-pink](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/49184222-ion8-leak-proof-water-bottle-500ml-18oz-classic-pink) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-11-06*
