As the door frame is so tall we felt like it would not hinder the function of the product by actually cinching it in up at the top which is what we did about an inch and a half and then we just ran the velcro straight across it and it's a seamless installation . . . it does hang on the ground probably 4 in but hey that's just helps keep the mosquitoes out they can't get up underneath it.
