Make sure you are using a charger that outputs a decent charge. But you could have one with a defective battery. **Q: Why can't my headphones connect in wireless mode?** A: If they are new/used make sure they are fully charged. Turn them off. There is a switch on the headset. Charge them via your ps4 in sleep mode, or leave the ps4 on. Also check to see if the USB transmitter it came with is pushed in your ps4 USB slot. Make sure the transmitter is lit up flashing blue. I also would reset the transmitter. Also is this the exact same transmitter that came with that headset? I tried to sync my latest gold headset with my prior transmitter, & I couldn't get them to sync. When I swapped out and used the new transmitter, it worked **Q: Does "7.1 virtual surround" justify the need to buy this gaming headset? i have a premium non-gaming headphone.** A: No, the only thing that justifies to buy this headset is the color. These do not disappoint. This headset comes complete with wired and wireless capabilities with all of the adapters you need for everything from your phone and tablet to your computer and console. With battery life being one of the most important aspects associated with wireless headsets, I generally get around 8-10 hours of continuous use before needing to charge them. From my experiences with this headset, it charges rather fast, most of the time I just plug the charger in and come back about 1.5-2 hours later to a full battery, and, as you can probably tell, any micro USB charger will work, not just the one that is included in the package. What really impressed me about this headset was the sound quality, along with the ability to customize the sound settings to achieve the exact sound you're looking for, through the free downloadable PS4 application. No matter your sound preference, you are bound to find, or create, one that fits your needs. My one and only complaint, although extremely minor, is the audible tones heard while muting and unmuting the mic. With my specific headset, when muting the mic I hear a higher pitch tone, and when unmuting the mic I hear a lower tone. Through the many devices I have owned in my life I have come to associate higher tones with a setting being enabled, and lower tones associated with settings being disabled, instead of the opposite. However, like I said, this is a minor complaint and is based on my personal preferences and I do not believe that this will turn people away from this headset whatsoever because it is rather easy to get used to (in addition to the on-screen pop-up when paired with the PS4). All in all, this is a great headset, especially considering its price point.
