I opened the box, and noticed all the knobs were inside a plastic bag with 4 screws and a small screwdriver. I noticed right away one of the clear knobs had popped off of the metal base and was broken in the bag. A call to Amazon came after that.I took the case out of the box and everything looked good except for a small crack on the top shelf area. I then tried to screw one of the knobs in and the first one I grabbed, the ball popped right off of that metal base too, then the 3rd one.. The 4th one is still attached but I also haven't touched it or pulled on it. I ended up buying some Gorilla Glue and tried to fix it myself. I'm letting the knobs dry over night, so hopefull they don't pop off again when I have stuff in the drawers and pull it out.My thoughts on the case: Overall it's a nice case, with the exception of poorly made knobs that need to be fixed.Pros:1.) It's a large case (most cases are around 6 inches in depth)2.) Clear, clean looking and prettyCons:1.) Broken knobs (need to fix the glue situation with manufacturer)2.) Self assemble the knobs (not a deal breaker, it was very quick and easy and makes it easier to fit in the box)3.) No padding, or mat liner. It arrived empty with just case, drawers, (broken) knobs, screws and screwdriver4.) Took longer to arrive even with PrimeIf the knobs stay on and don't pop off again, then all is fine with this shelf and I will probably end up keeping it.Overall, its worth trying if this is the size you need. I don't write many reviews, but I had to reward this company with a positive one. I was nervous to buy this due to a few reviews criticizing the knobs and the sliding of the drawers. I had none of these problems. In my experience, the acrylic is sturdy and the drawers slide smoothly. The knobs are adorable crystal balls (I thought they would be plastic). The faux metal bases for the crystal knobs are plastic, but seem sturdy enough. Each knob is attached by a single screw. A mini screwdriver is provided, but I found it unnecessary since the knobs screw on easily by hand. I purchased two of these organizers for my costume jewelry and cut velvet ring holding foam for a few drawers and clear rubber non-adhesive shelf liner for others to fit to prevent the jewelry from sliding--that worked out perfectly. The organizers are much roomier than I had thought they would be and have plenty of extra space waiting to be filled. In addition, the organizers were carefully packaged preventing any damage in shipping. I have previously purchased Muji drawers for my makeup. These organizers are not quite as heavy as the Muji drawers, but otherwise are of equal quality and utility. Her glue bottles and clay containers fit nicely in the open tray on top. I like that it can sit in the open and looks like a nice piece of decor in a conspicuous area of my home. It came very well packaged and no defects. One of the knobs (out of 8) had the little glass detached, however a few drops of E600 had it glued securely back on, no problem.
