Review: Very nice chess board - Beautiful pieces, the board has good weight to it, includes a little booklet and extra green pieces if needed.
Review: Beautiful chess set, well made - This is a good size chess board. It fits well on the coffee table. The pieces are smooth with no rough spots and have nice detail. The felt on the bottom keeps them from scratching the board. There is also felt on the bottom of the chess board itself. Some people mentioned that checker pieces are not included, but we happily received the checker pieces in our set. The chess set was carefully packaged in a sturdy box. We appreciate the fact that you can store the pieces inside of the chess board chest. This was a wedding present from my daughter to her husband and he loved it. The only thing it could be lacking, and it's not really any issue, more an upgrade suggestion, it's a spot in the storage area for a die or a coin which is used to determine who goes first. Made in China.

- Chess Dimensions: 15" board inlay with 1.65" (walnut/maple) squares, while equip with staunton pieces of 3" king and 1.15" base diameter. (The king is twice the height of the squares and the base diameter is 75 percent of the squares).
- Triple-Weighted Chess Pieces: The pieces are triple-weighted, it is less likely to tip over,give you peace of mind and a luxurious feeling when you use it with other players. The fleece pad on the bottom of the chess piece protects the surface of the board while enhancing slip resistance.
- Storage Drawer Design: The drawer design keeps dust off the chess pieces and allows for easy storage. The drawer slides very smoothly and has nice cushioned material for solidly holding the chess pieces. Inside the box, a manual is supplied with all the rules of the game.

This was a really nice chess and checker set. It’s very durable and the pieces are weighted nicely. We’ve played many times. The wood heavy and is great quality.
