(just over 2 hours) it was easy to put together. Once constructed it is very stable and I wouldn't agree with a couple of reviews I read saying this was not the case or the door catches were not secure as the ones on our kitchen were fine. My daughter loved it from the moment she opened it and has played with it daily ever since. Although it is an expensive item compared to other play kitchens, especially plastic alternatives, after shopping around and reading many reviews, I believe this will be far more durable and last much longer, as well as looking far more attractive than any other in the market, it never fails to get a compliment from visitors. But it is Definately worth the 3 plus hours to build. My little girl adores it and it is very sturdy and well made. I looked at quite a few before deciding on this one and I am so glad I did choose this.
