It took me almost two hours to buy it because I looked through most of the brushes on Amazon and then some. But I am glad I made the investment in time because it arrived yesterday, and it is perfect. Buying products for my hair now have become a priority since in the past I used many products which ruined my hair. And you know how you feel when everyday is a bad hair day. Now with choosing carefully and *properly* taking care of my hair it is starting to shape up and look better. I have thin fine hair, however, it is starting to get thicker and fuller. Using rose oil and spraying with rose water is helping. Getting back to the brush; first of all the shape is excellent since it molds to your scalp when you use it; the bristles are not too hard, yet hard enough to give your scalp a massage. If you have very thick and abundant hair, you may want to consider another one of the Fuller Brushes. My other brush is a Fuller from years back, and it has very soft nylon bristles. I was trying to duplicate it, but such soft bristles are not to be found anymore. This brush is a close second. It's firmer than the nylon, but I would not call it stiff. Let's say "Medium." I really like it. Easy on the scalp, and does the job without hurting or scratching. I bought two and am glad I did.
