There are steering wheel vol controls too, btw** A: I have a Golf 6 and it needed an adapter for the connections and a panel to accommodate it on the dashboard. In the end I got it fitted by a guy I know because it would not work when I did it. Apparently this is common with VWs and Pioneer gear. He had to do some kind of extra fiddle I couldn't be arsed to understand. Great unit though. **Q: Even though this is a couple of years old? is it still a good buy? or should i do for a more up to date standard DAB radio?** A: Had mine for a year now, great bit of kit. Worked with my iPhone 4 and now the 6 with no issues, integrates well with voice control, navigation and such but also works as a standard radio if you have no use for the other features.
