The pictures some people posted of sandcastles they made with it were misleading- they must have been taken at ground level to make the castles look bigger. The main castle piece is a decent size and probably a little bigger than most, but the walls, staircase, etc. are so small I don't think kids will have much luck using them. (Or not losing them!)
