Review: One of the top-pieces of our collection - I don’t know what an octopus has to do with Christmas, but this is one of the most spectacular baubles in our vast and growing collection. It is a colourful high-quality Christmas Octopus bauble that is a little bigger than I expected. It was not cheap in particular as we had to order it from overseas. But it came intact in a lovely decorated box that instantly gets you in the mood. Also it was wrapped with plenty of protective paper. The bauble itself is detailed and nicely decorated. As a modern baubles it is relatively sturdy, more so than the classic thin ones. Most of our baubles are in a bit of a classic/vintage, semi-Victorian style. These combined leads to a very full, colourful but super impressive and cheerful Christmas tree. Most guests are in total awe when they see our tree and spend minutes checking out the curiosities. And of course it provides for hours of excitement when we put it up with the children.
Review: Beautiful Decoration - This decoration is really beautiful. The design is even more beautiful than in the photographs on the product listing. It's very light and not too big. Well worth the money. I'll be buying other decorations from this series.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lovely design and gloriously bright colours
*by C***R on 1 November 2018*

OK, so I get it that an octopus enveloping the globe in its tentacles this is not everyone's idea of an appropriate Christmas ornament (and probably quite terrifying if you psychoanalyse the imagery). But - if you're like us, who adopt an 'everything but the kitchen sink' approach to decorating, and use the Christmas tree as a celebration of your family's interests and achievements - then this is pretty well ideal. Our son qualified as a scuba diver earlier in the year, and was lucky enough to see an octopus on his most recent dive. So this was an obvious addition to our tree to celebrate his achievement, and when he finally leaves home and has a Christmas tree of his own, this will form part of his 'core collection'. In terms of quality, this is a beautifully designed and very well made ornament that's well worth the money. Admittedly it's not to everyone's taste, but if you're into 'quirky' and want to include a marine element to your tree, then it is great. Highly recommended!
