I bought it for my husband who is a commercial painter and eating cold leftovers isn't fun or appealing so he would often not eat. Now with the ability to heat leftovers and not having to leave the job site no matter if there's electricity or not. The plate/dish that comes with the lunchbox is large enough to feed 2 - 3 people. It takes a few minutes for the food to heat completely. The warming plate can get some types of food extremely hot ( rice, refried beans, pasta sauce ect....).
