I like the quality so much I bought a second. The plastic is thick and feels durable. There's a hook on the back for poop bags. The way the dispenser comes apart makes installing the bags easy as there's a vertical slit rather than a hole to try and push the bags through. The dispenser provides more resistance than the usual round holes so you don't end up pulling through more than one bag. Each one came with 15 bags, and it looks like it will hold any brand of bag if Earth Rated isn't your usual preference. The packaging is pretty much just cardboard. The product itself and bags are also made from at least 65% recycled plastic. I'm happy with my purchases and would highly recommend them. (In fact, most compostable bags are made out of cornstarch, third-grade spoilt corn, and other plants, normally a waste product left to rot by farmers.) To make sure a brand is truly offering compostable dog poop bags, you need to look out for the: The EN13432 and ASTM D6400 certifications if they are sold in the US or Europe. (Ideally, both, as one denotes the fact that the bags fully degrade in a set time period, and the other certified them for either home & composting facilities).  stay away from scented poo bags if possible, as even the bio ones are counterintuitive when they have numerous additives added to give off artificial scents. AVOID any brands or so called compostable/biodegradable bags that: Use the EPI-technology, have EPI-additives, are oxo-degradable or are biodegradable without also being compostable. Claim to break down in only 30 to 60 days. While truly compostable bags can break down in as little as 3 months, that’s only when the environment meets all the requirements, and not when the bags end up in landfills. One box contained rolls with number the other hasn’t.** A: So attentive to details, so happy you noticed that! We did a trial run with adding numbers to the last 5 bags to see how it worked for our customers and for our production team- we got tons of amazing feedback on it and are currently working on making this a permanent addition to our bags! **Q: Where are these bags made?** A: Thanks so much for asking! Our bags are made in a facility in China that we own and manage ourselves! Our team in China is truly like a second family to us and as such, we respect all North American labour laws, including competitive wages, medical insurance and a clean work environment. Reliable, good quality and great value — an easy five-star recommendation. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good bags and a useful dispenser (once you have the hang of it) *by D***C on 3 March 2026* The bags themselves are large, strong and after using nearly all of a 900 bag order I've not had one bag that was torn or defective (just about to order another 900). As for the dispenser, we're on our third. I haven't had it fall apart on a walk or the strap break but I have had another member of the family refill it and manage to permanently seal it closed.....twice. This isn't a design fault but user error. After getting the family member to demonstrate what they did I discovered they were twisting it the wrong way on closure. After showing them the correct way (and added a black mark with a sharpie) it hasn't happened again. It's easy to refill (the trickiest part is getting the sticker off the full roll of bags that stops it unravelling) and the small warning sticker when there are only 3 bags left can be handy (though a quick twist to open and check before going out is easy enough).
