Will Stormdry prevent or reduce moss growth if applied to roof tiles after moss is removed?** A: Yes I used it on my rebuilt chimney stack and roof tiles I have a spare roof tile in my garden that I treated with Stormdry in July 2015 when I spray it with the garden hose the water just runs off it it never gets wet be sure to follow the instructions when application I have been in and out of the building trade for the past 30 years in my opinion this is the best product on the market for protection of masonry its expensive but worth every penny be careful when removing the moss from you're roof tiles if you use a high pressure hose always spray on the downwards slope the way rain runs off if you spray upwards with high pressure water will go inside the roof space hope this helps Bryan Bailey **Q: Does it work on K-rend** A: Yes, it does **Q: Can this be applied to MDF wood bath panels?** A: This product is for hard materials like concrete, brick etc. However there is another product very similar for wood which I have used on a shed and a fence. It's called Roxil and has exactly the same appearance as Stormdry. When you brush it on it reacts to the brushing action in exactly the same way too. Once applied water will not penetrate the wood and just beads on the surface. The quality of this appears to good and there is noticeable less damp, so the leak prevention appears to be working. I wish it was cheaper, but it could be a lot worse.
