The jar was packaged in a very stable cardboard box and inside several hard cardboard partitions to keep the jar dead in the center of the box without any possibility of it moving around. Then the jar itself was enclosed in a strong plastic bag just in case. When I opened the box with the first order and saw how it was packaged, I knew it was going to be something special...and it was...and is!
