They are not quiet but neither too loud to scare him into running away. They are on the heavier side and feel solid, did a good job with my dog's double coat and thin hairs, though seemed to catch some a couple of times if the angle wasn't perfect. Different hair length guards provided, which are very useful and easy to remove/clean. Battery seems to be quite good too, he's about the size of a larger collie and only used 20% for the full body. Managed to remove quite a bit of hair (customary evidence attached), so hoping to keep on using over this summer to allow the pooch to be a bit less uncomfortable during high temperatures 🙏 Review: Absolutely fantastic!!!!!!
