I have cancelled my gym membership ... - I bought UFC Trainer with the intent on toning up and getting fit and am happy with the results :) It's definately good for people who want to tone up i am not very fir or toned and have moved recently and am driving alot. I am very pleased with the options there are and you can do a 30 or 60 day program which is 2/3 days about 30mins day off then another 2 days then day off .. warm up and down excersies. Definately not a waste of money for me. Some of the videos i don't like and they talk through the whole way but i figured that i can have my music playing and have the tv on mute so I'm happy ... Review: Good Game - This game is a great fitness coach, when i first wanted to start getting fitter i myself couldnt motivate nor think of any set routines really but what this game does is give you guidance on what to do, it gives you different types of workouts enabling the player to have some kind idea on what to do basically instead of just doing crunches on the floor. Also it has neat little feature of having a program set up for you over 3 months or 6 months or sometthing, i havent been able to keep up with the program because i keep forgetting to ahah but never the less its a great game to get yourself fitter but i wouldnt use it as a only way of doing excersise. I'm not into the Jane Fonda type workout's you will find in some of the other titles available. This is a lot more intensive and as a result it makes a difference quicker and i got the impact i desired. After using this through the 30 day schedule there was a noticable difference to muscle tone and general fitness. That said some of the design elements to the game a truly awful! The Kinect development needs improving significantly. I use other titles such as Kinect Sports without any issues, but for some reason i'm constantly having to manouvre to fit into the Kinect workspace, or re-sign in because it has lost me - some days seem better than others. Not sure what is going on with the workspace but as i said no problems on any other title, so i can only put it down to how they've utilised the technology. As mentioned by various others, the trainer commentary can also be very irratating. Perfect example is when the trainer comments about being slower than the last time you performed the exercise - i don't understand what the point of this is?! Performing some exercises slower makes them more efficient, in fact one of the trainer comments even eludes to this, so its annoying to get a negative comment for no reason - i tend to actually switch the sound off now anyway! The tutorials are also annoying and i've found that during this game, despite it being Kinnect based, i still have the controller handy as its quicker for me to skip through. Overall, its frustrating as it could be so good, but instead of feeling great after a workout using this, i'm usually left irritable and frustrated.
