A: Sorry I don’t know I bought it as a gift. But the person I got it for bought spares extra bits direct from Kilner. Hope this helps

A: Hi and no it is a fermentation jar only, you transfer the contents to a prepared jar once it is food stuff ready to eat

A: I do not know. I only have 3 litre one.

This jar arrived with a cracked airlock valve, which the support line (customerservice@rayware.co.uk) was quick to replace for me.I have used the Kilner Sauerkraut fermentation system to do my first ferment, and no mold or unwanted organisms are growing - so the valve has done a good job. The sauerkraut tatses great too!I'm happy to recommend this jar to others for similar fermentations.
