**Q: Can you turn it on and off?**
A: Unfortunately, no. When you pull a plastic strip out the battery is activated, and in order for it to stop you need to remove the back cover ( very easy) and remove the battery. The good news is the battery life is about 3 months.

**Q: Is this the same kitty on the website with a softer body and a moving tale? The old version was harder and the tail doesn't move**
A: I have the old version - harder kitty & the tail doesn't move until I move it which has a wire inside it.  I don't know what the newer one looks like!

**Q: Do I have to cut out the patch of "fur" covering her battery in order to inset one?**
A: No you don’t need to cut the fur. Move it aside and you can pull the battery cover off to replace the battery.

**Q: Received ours today, not very happy with it and it is not breathing, sheds awful.  doa.  we removed the red tag, any suggestions for it to breath?**
A: I returned mine a long time ago.     I don't think it is supposed to breathe.   Is it advertised as breathing ?

Mine didn't shed though.    I had hoped it would be soft.    Not have a hard body.

I lost my cat a couple of weeks ago. This is a mechanical toy, that is a little steep for what it is, but every time that I am feeling stressed and wish I had my cat to pet or am missing him, I pet this one and it feels like a good way to ween myself having an animal. (We've opted not to adopt another.) Anyway, have really been enjoying it and I rarely leave reviews, but I'm using it. P.S. It's purring is mechanical sounding, I don't have the problem one person did with a clicking noise, but I could see it annoying some people because there is no off switch (or I couldn't find one). It could be softer.
