This is built into the serial number when you go about doing a warranty request. I have had a couple batteries and tools that have had to go in while under warranty. This thing is a beast, it is easily as fast as pneumatic impacts. Maybe not as fast when just spinning. But it takes the lugs off like they were nothing. I love it. Used it multiple time and have had no "loose lugs" as someone complained of. Milwaukee recommends using only the 12.0a battery.
