## Description

Lightweight and accurate A2 drawing board with parallel motion unit. Incorporates a simple cross-wire type parallel motion unit running on a pulley system. Transparent acrylic straight edge with a graduated graphics scale.

Review: A nice little board - A nice little board which is just what I needed to draw up small projects for the home and garden. The stand places the board at a comfortable angle to work on and has plastic covered feet to protect the table top. It folds away neatly and acts as a carrying handle. The board itself is light but flat and stable. The rule is a little flimsy but OK if used with a degree of care. It would have been nice to have the rule quickly detachable but sadly it isnt, however the wire parallel motion is smooth and seems reasonably robust. As an ex design engineer I can recommend this board for the occasional use on DIY projects and hobbies.
Review: Perfect - Literally perfect, it's the same one that we use at uni, so when I found it for this price I was over the moon, I'd heard they are usually £70 ish from other places! I had previously ordered a Bertram drawing board but I accidentally got the smaller size and I'm really glad because after sending it back I got this and it's MUCH better quality for only a few pounds more! The parallel motion is great quallity because on the Bertram drawing board it was simply nylon string type material but the Blundell and Harling board has a proper wire one that isn't going to stretch or snag on anything. It arrived really quickly! I can also highly recommend getting a set of clips for the drawing board as they are easier to use that something like masking tape which might get stuck under the ruler which is thankfully quite difficult to remove. Couldn't be happier

**Q: hi, can you position the board on a 60 degree angle?**
A: Hi, this board only has the a 20 degree angle as it uses the carry handle as the stand.

**Q: Does it come with a case**
A: My Blundell Harling (BH) Challenge A2 drawing board did not come with a base. However it does come with handle making it portable. The handle also doubles as the legs to allow the board to have a fixed angle of inclination during use.

**Q: how stable is the board, please? - it seems to balance on quite thin legs.**
A: You will find it very stable. The legs fold under (flat) creating a carry handle. There are 2 bars at the back with notches to hook over the edge of a table at different positions, and the board has never warped. Clean the surface and the back of the horizontal(tee) bar regularly with nothing abrasive, and you will get many years of service. I bought my first in 1994., and it lasted me until 2012, and I only changed then because the white surface was wearing, so I thought I would treat myself. I regularly produce house extension drawings on it. No CAD for me!

**Q: Can you draw accurate close parallel horizontal lines (say 2mm apart)?**
A: Yes. With care.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Blundell Harling A2 Challenge drawing board

This is a great little board for the money. It all works easily. The non-slip feet are great allowing me to perch this right on the edge of my table. I used masking tape to keep the paper attached as it does the job for me, athough I'm sure you can pick up clips to keep the paper in place. The angle is ok (15 degree), although I would liked it to have been higher. As I dont own a bar stool to clearly see the top end of the drawing. I easily rectified this problem by using my small plastic step stool! I placed the step stool on the table under the legs which gave me a 60 degree angle...fabulous!!! With a little bit of improvisation I gained a good little work horse...worth every penny!! If I were to ask for one thing from the manufacturer it would be extendable legs please :-)
