Like with any gear, you have to look after them, I always replace them in the plastic container when not in use and clean them with warm soapy water regularly. **Q: Will these stop me being able to hear next door neighbours TV?** A: Haha, no probably not! I work in production around a lot of loud machinery, and they block noise really well. They’re very comfortable and don’t hurt my ears even after wearing them for many hours. They’re also simple and easy to use.I work 12-hour day and night shifts, and they’re comfortable enough to sleep with during the day — I can hardly feel them. They're also easier to manage when wearing a respirator mask and glasses or goggles.Noise cancellation seems adequate, although I'm pretty deaf so I can't say for sure.The case is a useful (almost essential) addition, as is the pusher-inner.My main beef is that the thread that connects them together and sits round the back of the neck when in use gets tangled incredibly easily when they're stored in the case. I've spent many a frustrating couple of minutes untying fiddly knots while keen to get on with the job in hand.Also avoid pulling them out of your ears by the string.
