It is suitable for kitchen surfaces and cooking areas such as hobs, tiles and cooker hoods. Do not use on high-gloss paint or varnish. What is the bed made of? You could dilute in hot water, using a little of the product and see how it goes. I would be wary of spraying it directly onto a soft wood or fabric. I would dilute first and do it in stages. I have an iron bedstead but have never used it on it. I would choose a part that isn't easily seen first, if that is possible. **Q: Are these either bs en 1276 or bs en 13697 products as recommended by the food safety authority?** A: Good afternoon, Please be informed that this product is not qualified by the food safety authority. Kind regards, HG consumerservice **Q: Can this be used on gloss cabinets?** A: I've just used it on my cabinet doors which aren't gloss but have a bit of a sheen. The results are varied. Used with just a microfibre cloth and buffed dry it worked well, but I used a green scourer for the greasiest door over the hob and the sheen has been dulled. It now looks patchy, like waxed furniture. I'm not sure if the spray is to blame, the scourer, or the combination of the two. On the less greasy cupboards, I don't think it was any more effective than near washing up liquid. **Q: Can I use it to clean hobs cast iron grates?** A: We would suggest you HG Oven, Grill and Barbecue Cleaner for the cast iron grates ## Frequently Bought Together - HG Grease Away Cleaner, Simple & Strong Kitchen Degreaser, Multi Use for Any Surface, - Removes Fat & Oil Easily - 500ml Spray (128050106) - HG Mould Spray, Effective Mould Spray & Mildew Cleaner, Removes Mouldy Stains From Walls, Tiles, Silicone Seals & More - 500ml , Pack of 1 - HG Bathroom Cleaner Spray for All Surfaces, Universal Toilet Cleaner, Tile Cleaner, Shower Spray & Light Limescale Remover & Descaler, All Surface Cleaner - 500ml --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/49645920-grease-away-kitchen-degreaser-spray-grease-and-oil-remover-500ml](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/49645920-grease-away-kitchen-degreaser-spray-grease-and-oil-remover-500ml) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
