How to use HG laminate cleaner Moisten a cloth or mop lightly with the product. Spray 2 to 4 times and make sure the mop or floor cloth is not too wet. Mop the laminate floor with a little pressure. The idea is not to wet the floor, but for the damp cloth or mop to take up the dust and dirt. No need to dry. If you have any stubborn marks, spray directly onto the mark, leave it to work and wipe off. Dissolve 50ml (half a cup) of the product in half a bucket (5L) of lukewarm water. For more intensive soiling, a stronger solution can be made of 100 ml (1 cup) of product to half a bucket of water. I used it on a pouffe, you can see from the before and after pictures, particularly bringing out the colours, how well it works. Lightly brush the area first. I used 5 litres of water to a 1/4 ltr of solution. I found it best to use a sponge to dampen the area (2 sq ft at a time), leave for 5 minutes. Then using a towel that has gone a bit rough over time (preferably a white one so you can see the dirt), I used up and down, side to side and circular movements, concentrating on a smallish area at a time, keep finding a clean part of the towel, otherwise you are rubbing the dirt in again! I also found it effective to wrap the towel round my finger, and using my knuckles to get into the fabric, gives you more elbow grease too! I've now started on my sofa arms, the results are also amazing, they look like new.
