## Description

Model Number BC04POur most advanced extra long range, water-resistant (IP67) beacon with adjustable movement sensor accelerometer. This beacon can achieve ranges of up to 100 meters using its standard iBeacon broadcast. 4 year battery life (CR2477 included). The battery is easily replaceable after 4 years. Real time battery level can be monitored using our KBeaconPro app or retrieved programmatically using a scan request method or broadcast as part of a TLM broadcast. Using its built-in motion sensor, this beacon can be configured to broadcast only after sensing movement. Can also be configured to broadcast normally but then to broadcast a slightly modified iBeacon UUID or different protocol after sensing movement. Broadcasts your choice of iBeacon, Eddystone TLM, Eddystone URL, and/or Eddystone UID format. Eddystone TLM broadcasts battery strength, temperature, and broadcast count data. The BC04P has five different "slots" for broadcasting (slots are numbered 0 through 4). Most users will only use one slot, but if you wanted to, you could technically broadcast up to 5 different UUID numbers all with different configurations. Free configuration apps for iPhone & Android allow you to adjust settings according to your needs. If you purchase a blue charm beacon like I did this seller will help you if you have questions on how to set it up. This behaves like an adjustable apple tag but does not use phone or internet service so you need a beacon enabled app to see it. Typical uses for beacons are geocaching or put it with a trail camera so you can find it again. Beacons are typically larger than an apple tag or android tag. They can be used to trigger an app or as locators. Many commercial places like museums use beacons to trigger an app you can load on your phone to take a self tour. You can set variables like broadcast intervals and strength. When I bought this I did not understand how to use it. I bought it for my map app. It took me a few hours of research and emailing both the beacon seller and the app creator who both helped me to understand how to use it and set it up.
