The colors are a bit darker in person but they look even better.you can get pages to replace the ones that are in there because of the ring binder like feel which means this is such a steal! you can buy the other packs and keep using the journal for as long as you want the material it is made out of is very sturdy and I dont expect it to start falling apart anytime soon. The pages are a bit dark they almost match the color on the inside of the journals cover but they are fine I wouldnt recommend them for art probably too dark for that but writing on them wouldnt hurt. the plastic holders in the back are great too! great storage and it would be quite hard to look at the journal and tell its your (wallet) too. I didnt really enjoy the dragonfly charm on the front of it so I took it off and replaced it with a key charm I had and it is even cuter! didnt think it was possible haha. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is considering buying it. I have wanted a vintage journal for some time now and this is perfect! I even went to thrift shops and stuff recently looking for one this tops them all its great. sorry for the long review but I can't express enough how great this journal is you will be happy! one thing though when it came, it came in a box that was all wet which wasnt the best thing but the delivery guy had me open the box just to make sure it was still intact and it was it comes in a clear plastic bag which did a good job of keeping it safe. 5 star review for sure thank you guys! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice journal for a trip to Paris *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 17, 2017* My niece is going on a vacation to Paris, and I thought this journal would be the perfect gift. The cover has a vintage charm, that is enhanced with its soft earth-tone colors and images of stamps, maps, and the Eiffel Tower. (Although, to go with the Paris theme, they should have used a map of Europe instead of North America.) The “leather” cover itself is pretty thick and sturdy looking. The rope closure is a little clunky to use, but again it goes with the vintage charm. The pages are thick and a good quality, although I found the color a little dark.
