Shrugged it off and cleared it since it was absurdly cold. It happened again, so considering I have not had this product for a year, I reached out to Dorman and told them I think I have a faulty thermostat. (this is why they keep five stars.) Gave the details as of why, etc. No hassle, they sent me a new one. I start to take off the old one and immediately, the spring falls out and the tensioner that holds the spring in place is chilling inside the block. (This is the scary part..) Anyway, I have replaced it with another one and I do trust their parts. Things happen and it does fit perfectly, built very well, and I do believe that they do last a very long time, I just got a dud.
